Boston's Tiberius have announced their new album,'Troubadour,' for release via Audio Antihero (Frog / Avery Friedman / CIAO MALZ / The Noisy) on November 14th. "Moab" is the album's third single, and will be released on September 12th.

Originally a solo project for Brendan Wright (they/them), Tiberius has evolved into a catchy and cacophonous four-piece, producing what Wright calls "Farm Emo."This expanded lineup of Wright, bassist Kelven"KP"Polite (he/him), drummer Sam Blumenstiel (he/him), and pedal steel player Pat King (they/them) blends Indie Punk, Alt Country and Psychedelia with confessional, yet conversational and relatable songwriting.

This sonically layered and expansive collection sees Tiberius go from the angry to the ambient, offering intensity and heart and a warm and rustic flair. Leading singles "Sag" and "Felt" wouldn't be out of touch on a Deep Elm compilation, while songs like "Moab" and "Sitting" veer into folksy Indie Country Pop.

"Moab was a song I wrote about trying to let go. At the time I was defining myself by expectations of a strained relationship. I was feeling pretty insane - like the kind of insane you feel back in 8th grade where you come home crying all of the time because you have absolutely no sense of self. Writing 'Moab' offered catharsis. Looking back, I feel a lot of embarrassment around those feelings, - but it was how I felt at the time and that was the place I was in. I wish I had acted differently, and I strive to now.."Brendan Wright (they/them)

On a crash-course collision with greatness… - Penny Mag

In “Sag” Wright distills the agony of band life–the tantalizing proximity to success, the toll it can take on your psyche–into punchy couplets. There’s a great line about “dragging amps and dragging ass,” and once it’s time to “play a show, play a show, play a show,” they sound utterly exhausted. - Allston Pudding

Captivating—impressive in its scope and layering...Blending killer songwriting chops with impressive narrative ability. - Boston Hassle

Walking a fine line between midwest emo and lush indie rock, the collection of songs on Lull prattle on in the most charming and abstract way. - Swim Into The Sound

Tiberius definitely have a bright career ahead of them. Now a group, they explore finding themselves in their 20's and navigating the world together. - Subba-Cultcha
